We're hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and safety inspections Repair or replace key systems: engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc. Conduct test drives and adjust systems for optimal performance Maintain detailed service records Support shop operations and follow safety procedures Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Experience using shop tools and diagnostic equipment Must supply own tools Able to work in non-climate-controlled conditions Preferred Experience (a plus, not required): 5+ years of diesel/tractor-trailer experience CDL Class B license Tank trailer and HM183 knowledge DOT Brake Certification Vocational/Technical training Penn Tank Lines is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race/color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, medical history, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
