Contract Remote English Teacher — U.S. Elementary Schools

OverviewAir Reading is seeking dedicated teachers to provide structured, high-quality online reading instruction to K-6 students to support literacy development. ResponsibilitiesTeach reading classes via Zoom to groups of up to four students in 30- or 40-minute sessions. Be available during school and after-school hours; most classes are scheduled between early morning and late afternoon, Monday through Friday. Follow a provided curriculum with clear lesson directions. Provide regular feedback on student progress and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment. Maintain a flexible schedule and participate in professional development opportunities. QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher; degrees in education, English, or literacy-related fields preferred. Experience teaching reading, ESL, and phonics in early elementary grades. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus. Proficiency with Zoom and educational technologies. Authorization to work in the United States is required. Compensation and scheduleBase pay range: $24.00/hr. Compensation up to $24/hour (12 for 30-minute sessions) or $16 for 40-minute sessions.
