We´re looking Senior Quailty Engineer supporting a client in the travel space. 100% remote support in CST.Location: Anywhere in LATAM - supporting CSTStart: ASAPRequired skills:API automation Ideally - TOSCA/RESTGITAPI manual testingCloud - ideally comfort with AWS cloudSQLAs a Senior Associate Quality Engineer, you will help realize software quality by streamlining testing with a strong set of test development skills and automation tools/frameworks. You will collaborate closely with business and development teams as part of the practices defined by Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)/Behavior Driven Development (BDD). Using your test automation expertise and testing mindset, you will perform various types of testing for software solutions, ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will engage in tasks ranging from manual test case creation and execution to defect management and hands-on development of the Java technology stack to support Gherkin/Cucumber-based tests. Your Impact:Create and implement comprehensive test plans by analyzing and reviewing project requirement documents.Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business teams to help define acceptance test criteria.Estimate and develop Java-based test automation using ATDD/BDD tools such as Cucumber.Design, develop, test, maintain, and execute test scripts across different test environments for consistency.Execute manual test cases as needed based on business requirements and maintain traceability.Collaborate closely with the software development team to enhance testing by understanding the system and source code under test.Report, reproduce, and debug issues identified during testing.Configure and schedule test automation within a Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline.Create and execute automated test cases, report defects, and track daily testing status and overall project progress.Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management.Provide mentorship to junior team members, driving automation and the re-use of testing frameworks.Constantly seek ways to improve processes to increase agility and quality.
