Full-Time3 Commercial PlaceProfessionalDays23.9300 Through 35.9100* GENERAL SUMMARY* The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective, efficient, and accurate onboarding for all employees. This position also leads all employment-screening activities. This role interacts with all levels of staff and has exposure to sensitive human resources information necessitating the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Provides first hand support and organization of the day-to-day operations for all on-boarding processes.* Ensures adherence to company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government requirements.* Reviews current and drafts new processes, procedures, and policies related to onboarding; identifies potential risk, improvements, and efficiencies and brings suggestions to Manager for review.* Responsible for the processing of various compliance screenings such as driving records, background checks, Office of Inspector General reports for new hires when hired, new hire health screen clearances; I-9 reporting/tracking using E-Verify.* Manages all talent management systems' files; auditing and purging per policy and state and federal government requirements.* Performs diverse Onboarding support, including providing metrics for functional areas.* Updates and maintains personnel systems with personnel data; ensures the accuracy of all data entered in systems.* Assists in training new recruiting and talent management staff on onboarding procedures and requirements.* Performs other duties as assigned.* LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS* None required.* MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred; or experience equivalent.* Minimum of two years' onboarding or HR data entry experience.* Expert in using applicant tracking systems.* Proficient in MS Office.* Knowledge of Human Resources law related to recruiting, and on-boarding, including staying informed of HR topics that may affect employment law in the future.* Demonstrates the ability to fully understand and improve the on-boarding process.* Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse team environment with all levels of staff and ability to maintain excellent work relationships with staff, candidates, and subcontractors.* Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.* Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast paced environment responding to unpredictable changing situations and needs with sound judgment and excellent customer relations skills.* Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once.* WORKING CONDITIONS* Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* Click here to view physical requirements.
