Insulation Sales ConsultantIsaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an Insulation Sales Consultant for their Rochester, NY location. The purpose of this role is to evaluate customer homes by utilizing provided energy assessment tools, educate homeowners on your findings, and sell products/solutions based on the results of the energy assessment, focusing on improving/replacing insulation to increase energy efficiency.The ideal candidate will be customer service orientated and interested in consultation sales. This position includes a base salary with commission. Isaac partners with leading HVAC and plumbing companies throughout the United States, providing the support and resources of a large national company.Responsibilities:Generate leads through referrals and inbound inquiriesConduct in-home energy assessments, including inspecting insulation and air sealing, and other efficiency factorsProvide homeowners with clear, customized recommendations and quotes for insulation or other energy-saving improvementsEducate homeowners on the benefits of energy efficiency and available rebate or incentive programsClose sales through consultative, solution-oriented sellingMaintain sales projections, reaching sales goals set by your managerCoordinate with installation teams to ensure timely and accurate project completionMaintain detailed records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in ServiceTitan softwareFollow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure referralsEnter energy assessment information in energy modeling program as necessaryStay up to date on energy efficiency trends, utility rebate programs, and local building codesEngineer, order, and schedule the purchased home improvementsPerform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the departmentJob Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferredSecure and maintain BPI CertificationExperience/knowledge of home and/or energy industry preferredValid driver's license/clean driving recordCompetencies:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of energy efficiency principles, building science, or insulation products preferredProven experience in sales, energy consulting, or a related fieldSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilitiesWhat Can We Offer You?Base salary of $31,200 plus 8% commission on all salesAll major energy assessment toolsLaptop computer and cell phoneCompany vehicleComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurancePaid vacation and sick time401k retirement plan with company matchThe starting yearly base salary range for this position is $31,200 plus 8% commission on all sales, and the first-year earnings can exceed $100,000+. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position.
