Direct-hire opportunity with a well-established, nationally recognized heavy civil contractor offering excellent compensation, benefits, and career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManage or support heavy civil construction projects including highways, roads, bridges, and infrastructureDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plansCoordinate with field superintendents, subcontractors, and owners on project executionPrepare and manage project documentation: submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applicationsMonitor project costs and productivity; prepare forecasts and cost reportsEnsure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and safety requirementsSupport estimating and preconstruction efforts as neededMaintain client relationships and represent the company professionallyQualifications3-10+ years of experience in heavy civil / highway / bridge constructionBS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredExperience with DOT projects and heavy civil means and methodsStrong scheduling, cost control, and project documentation skillsProficiency with project management software (HCSS, Primavera, Procore, or similar)Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced field environmentWillingness to relocate to or work in the Waynesville, NC areaCompensation & BenefitsExcellent base salary commensurate with experience6% 401(k) matchFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision)Relocation assistance offeredCareer growth with a major national contractor
