Loan Servicing Specialist (SBA)Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid Schedule)A full-service SBA lending branch is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support its growing portfolio. This team manages the full lifecycle of SBA loans, from pre-closing preparation through payoff; ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong borrower relationships at every stage.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and self-sufficient professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the full servicing lifecycle of SBA loans, from pre-close through payoffConduct pre-closing audits to ensure all documentation and requirements are in placeCoordinate with loan closers to facilitate a smooth transition to closingCollect deposits, order appraisals, and prepare loan documentation packagesManage post-closing loan setup and ongoing servicing responsibilitiesProcess borrower payments and maintain accurate loan recordsRequest and collect required documentation from borrowersMonitor loans for compliance with SBA and regulatory guidelinesHandle borrower inquiries and service requests in a timely mannerAssist with problem loan situations and ensure proper handling and resolutionMaintain organization of collateral, closing documents, and loan filesRequired QualificationsExperience in loan servicing, preferably within SBA lendingStrong understanding of loan documentation, payments, and compliance requirementsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently without micromanagementStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with borrowersTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingBanking background preferred, but institution type is flexibleWork Environment & ScheduleHybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday and Thursday; remote Monday, Wednesday, and FridayFirst 30 days require in-office attendance Monday–Friday for training (flexible based on progress)Flexible work hours, typically between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM core window (Not to be taken advantage of)8-hour workday expected90-day introductory period to ensure mutual fitCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually dependent on experienceAnnual merit-based increasesComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and ESOPPaid time off: 2 weeks PTO, bank holidays, and additional sick daysOpportunity OverviewThis is a strong opportunity to join a supportive, team-oriented environment that values independence, accountability, and work-life balance.
