With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that’s built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence.SummaryThis position will be split evenly between South Tampa and Lakeland.Assesses, develops, implements, and leads educational activities designed to grow, maintain, and improve the professional competence of Free Standing Emergency Department Team MembersCreates and oversees assigned clinical programs by completing needs assessmentsEmploys evidence-based practice in educational methodologies and clinical practiceAssists in clinical orientation of new Team MembersProvides ongoing consultation on educational requirements and existing resources to direct care Team MembersActively participates in the quality improvement processActs as a positive agent of change and communicationGuides other disciplines in applying principles of evidence-based care to their educational needs. Performs appropriate RN functions and other duties when assigned. Follows the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Scope and Standards of Practice. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.Minimum QualificationsRequired BSN with 3 years of Clinical Experience in an ED and Nursing Education experience.OR Bachelor's in Healthcare Related Field with 4 years of Nursing Education and ED experience.CredentialsRequired BLS (Basic Life Support) - CertificationRequired RN (Registered Nurse) - State of FloridaFacilityBayCare Health System, Admin - Non-Hospital Related-BUC Location: Lakeland/South TampaStatus: Full Time, Exempt: YesShift Hours: variesWeekend Work: OccasionalOn Call: NoHow often will this team member be working remotely?
