This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13564903**Summary/Objective**The Human Resource Manager is directly responsible for the overalladministration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resourcefunction, also including administration of Safety Programs and TrainingPrograms.**Essential Functions** Partners with employees and management to communicate various HumanResource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and governmentregulations. Maintains employee handbook and policies and proceduresmanual. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, andsystems. Including improvement of employee productivity and timeworked reports. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results ofdepartments in relation to established goals. Recommends newapproaches, policies, and procedures to effect continualimprovements in efficiency of departments and services performed. Administers company-wide training and development programs. Administers Safety Program Monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution,change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicatingbenefit information to employees. Develops and maintains Affirmative Action Program, maintains otherrecords, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations. Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaintsand harassment allegations. Recruit, interview and screen job applicants to fill entry level,professional and technical job openings. Responsible for handling ofapplications and job position inquiries. Conducts onboarding process, pre-employment drug screening,background checks (including Work Comp), E-Verify and new hireorientation. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends othermeetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts andemployee directory. Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records andcomplies reports from database. Maintains personnel files, including employee attendance, training,HIPAA and FMLA regulations. Represents the company in unemployment claims (OSCAR). Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerningemployment law. Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according tocompany and OSHA safety guidelines. All protective equipment is tobe worn as required.**Knowledge and Skills** The ability to research and analyze different types of datainformation. Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills. Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolveproblems or issues, by using judgement that is consistent withstandards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or governmentlaw. Ability to work independently and self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal skills verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
