All Jobs > Project Manager - Ideal ConstructionThe Project Manager leads construction projects from preconstruction through closeout - ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to Ideal Construction's quality standards.This role serves as the primary coordinator between clients, field teams, subcontractors, and internal partners, driving clear communication, proactive planning, and exceptional project execution.Core ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionLead projects through completionDevelop and manage project schedules and milestonesCoordinate subcontractors, materials, and sequencingAnticipate and resolve issues before they impact schedule or costEnsure work aligns with plans, specs, and client expectationsClient & Partner CommunicationServe as primary point of contact for clients during constructionMaintain proactive, professional communicationLead project meetings and provide progress updatesManage expectations and resolve concerns quicklyBuild strong, trust-based client relationshipsBudget & Cost ManagementManage project budgets and cost trackingReview and approve invoices and change ordersIdentify cost risks and implement solutionsProtect project profitability and financial performanceField Coordination & SupportPartner closely with Superintendents and field teamsEnsure manpower, materials, and information are alignedConduct site visits to monitor progress and qualitySupport problem-solving in the fieldQuality & CloseoutVerify work meets Ideal craftsmanship standardsManage punch lists and project completionEnsure documentation and closeout requirements are metDeliver projects clients are proud ofKey Success MeasuresProjects delivered on schedule and budgetStrong client satisfaction and repeat businessMinimal rework and punch itemsPositive field and subcontractor relationshipsAccurate cost control and profitabilityQualifications5+ years construction project management experienceCommercial and/or renovation experience preferredStrong knowledge of construction processes and sequencingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent organization and communication skillsProficiency with construction management softwareCommitment to safety, quality, and professionalismWhy This Role MattersProject Managers are central to Ideal Construction's reputation.
