BIM Manager – Data Center Construction

Job Title: BIM Manager – Data Center ConstructionLocation: McLean, VAPosition Type: Full-time, Direct HireSalary Range: $130-150,000 (negotiable based on experience)Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and articulate BIM Manager with a proven track record in U.S.-based data center construction. The ideal candidate will possess a powerful combination of advanced technical/software expertise and robust, hands-on construction experience.Responsibilities:Lead and facilitate critical coordination meetings with clients, owners, and subcontractors to clearly communicate construction sequences, resolve clashes, and align on project milestones.Oversee and manage the implementation of BIM/VDC workflows specifically tailored to complex, mission-critical data center environments.Manage 3D model aggregation, clash detection, and resolution processes across MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines.Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and design teams to ensure virtual models accurately reflect constructability and field conditions.Transition seamlessly between office-based modeling workflows and active construction sites for mandatory on-site progress meetings and field verifications.Qualifications:Demonstrated, direct experience working on U.S.-based data center construction projects is strictly required.Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. You must be comfortable leading client-facing discussions and defending construction methodology.Expert-level command of industry-standard BIM/VDC software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud).Strong understanding of MEP systems, constructability, and the fast-paced coordination demands of mission-critical facilities.Ability to work primarily from the local office, with the flexibility to travel to job sites for face-to-face client and team meetings as needed.
