We are committed to excellence in patient care and dedicated to supporting our healthcare professionals.Job Overview:We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Adult or Family Nurse Practitioners to join our team in correctional healthcare settings across Colorado. This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful care to underserved populations while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.Shift: Tuesday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create personalized care plansDiagnose and treat acute and chronic conditionsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)Conduct physical exams and perform minor procedures (e.g., injections, spinal taps)Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimensEducate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment plansCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure integrated careMaintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical recordsApply case management strategies to support continuity of careStay informed on current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practicesQualifications:Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of ColoradoMaster's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited programMinimum 2 years of NP experience (correctional or hospital setting preferred)Colorado DEA license with prescriptive authorityStrong knowledge of clinical coding, billing, and ICD-10 standardsProficient in patient assessment, diagnosis, and care planningExcellent critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment Why Join Us?Competitive pay based on experienceOpportunities to make a real impact in public healthSupportive, mission-driven teamFlexible work environments across various Colorado locationsReady to make a difference in correctional healthcare?
