Job Title: Scrum Master (Temp-to-Hire)Location: Hybrid – Houston, TX (Local candidates only)Employment Type: Temp-to-HirePosition only on W2( GC or USC candidate only)Position OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and high-impact Scrum Master who can bridge the gap between team-level execution and organizational influence. This role is ideal for someone who has mastered Scrum fundamentals and is ready to grow into a strategic leadership position. The Scrum Master will coach Agile teams, foster a high-performance culture, remove impediments, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCoach Scrum teams to achieve high performance by identifying strengths and addressing improvement areas.Serve as a servant leader by removing blockers and protecting the team from external distractions.Guide teams from simply practicing Agile to fully embracing the Agile mindset.Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including:Sprint PlanningDaily Stand-upsSprint ReviewsSprint RetrospectivesQuarterly PI Planning sessionsPartner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to support cross-functional initiatives.Drive continuous improvement and organizational Agile maturity.Promote best practices using Jira, Confluence, Miro, and MS Teams.Foster transparency, collaboration, and effective communication across teams.Required Qualifications3–5 years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master.Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and Agile methodologies.Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.Hands-on experience with:JiraConfluenceMS TeamsCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) certification required.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Must be local to the Houston area and able to work in a hybrid environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments.Experience facilitating PI Planning.Experience coaching multiple Agile teams.Ability to influence organizational change and drive Agile transformation.Ideal CandidatePassionate about building high-performing, self-organizing teams.Leads through influence rather than command-and-control.Strong servant leadership mindset.Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and Agile excellence.
