Supply Chain Intern
Position PurposeThis Supply Chain Internship offers hands-on experience in real-world supply chain operations, where you’ll gain exposure to both supply planning and supply analysis functions while contributing to meaningful, high-impact projects. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders, build technical and analytical skills, and make a tangible impact on our planning processes. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will:Learn core responsibilities of Supply Planners and Supply AnalystsSupport tactical planning activities within SAP (ERP system)Participate in supply planning meetings and day-to-day planning operationsGain on-site exposure at local manufacturing and/or warehousing facilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesSupply Planning and Analytical TrainingHands-On Experience: Work in SAP, Power BI, and real supply chain systemsCross-Functional Learning: Gain insight into manufacturing, warehousing, and planning operationsSkill Development: Strengthen analytical, technical, and communication skillsProcess Improvement InitiativesBuild and/or convert KPIs into our Power BI platformSupport data collection and execution for continuous improvement supply chain projectsDocumentation & Systems ProjectAssist in file conversion and organization aligned with our new QMS systemLead the migration of training materials into a structured, user-friendly system for the planning teamMentorship & Leadership ExposureDedicated mentor (Planning Team Supervisor) with weekly check-ins and project guidanceDirect reporting line to the Senior Director of PlanningRegular mentorship sessions with senior leadershipPresenting your capstone project experience to executive teamQualifications And Key CompetenciesBasic understanding of supply and demand planning conceptsExperience or exposure to Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (a plus)Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsOutgoing personality, curiosity, and a strong drive to learnStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsOld World Industries is among the largest privately held companies competing in the automotive aftermarket today.
