Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Truck Worker and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this setting you will be working in a small kitchen environment, generally with one other person. You will have to balance fryer and griddle as well as helping with the window. We do not have stations and we generally share duties. We focus on quality and freshness without heat lamps. This requires speed, communication and constantly being aware of tickets. It is a generally American food. Being in close quarters, it is best to be a people person. If it is busy it can be stressful and it is good to have a friend in your coworker. This is a hot and cold environment. In the summer it is steamy over the griddle and in the winter you have to bundle. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and serve food and beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation guidelines. Ensure water tanks are full, gloves are available before service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering strictly to food safety regulations. Handle food items carefully during serving and storage, following proper food handling procedures. Support dietary accommodations by understanding specific dietary needs and assisting in meal customization when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods and special events. Requirements Prior experience in line cooking on a griddle, restaurant service. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Experience in serving, food preparation, or hospitality roles within the food industry. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
