Anesthesiologist (ANY State Medical License Accepted)

Position Overview We are seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to provide comprehensive anesthesiology services at a VA medical facility in Columbia, South Carolina. This role offers a stable, long-term opportunity serving our nation’s veterans in a collaborative, hospital-based setting. Providers will deliver high-quality anesthesia care in accordance with ASA guidelines and national standards of care. Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures Deliver perioperative care including pre-op evaluation, intraoperative management, and post-op follow-up Participate in on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Work collaboratively with surgeons, nursing staff, and clinical teams Document all patient care in the VA electronic health record system Adhere to all VA policies, patient safety standards, and quality improvement requirements Schedule & Coverage Standard Hours: Day shifts (typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) On-Call Coverage: After-hours, weekends, and holidays 24/7 Anesthesia Coverage Required Multiple anesthesiologists onsite daily Qualifications Required: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA) Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state Current BLS and ACLS certification DEA license Ability to pass federal credentialing and background checks Strong communication skills and professionalism Preferred: Experience in hospital-based or surgical center anesthesiology Prior VA or federal healthcare experience (not required) What We Offer Competitive compensation Consistent, predictable scheduling Long-term contract stability Malpractice insurance coverage Credentialing and onboarding support Opportunity to serve U.S. Veterans in a mission-driven environment How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed or submit your CV Si2 HEALTHCARE is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business specializing in staffing highly skilled clinicians to serve our nation's veteran populations at government facilities across the United States.
