A respected California-based law firm with a growing intellectual property practice is seeking a Patent Associate to join its collaborative team. This attorney will work closely with experienced practitioners on a wide range of intellectual property matters for clients ranging from emerging companies to Fortune 500 organizations.

Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters
Support intellectual property transactions and portfolio management initiatives
Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements
Counsel clients regarding patent strategy and protection
Collaborate with attorneys, technical professionals, and client stakeholders
Assist with domestic and international intellectual property matters
Contribute to business development and client service initiatives
Qualifications
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar membership
Admission to practice before the USPTO
Minimum 3+ years of intellectual property experience
Experience handling sophisticated IP matters in a law firm environment
Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills
Preferred
Experience working with technology, life sciences, or innovative growth companies
Strong client counseling and relationship management abilities
Experience supporting complex intellectual property transactions
