Instructional Support Assistant To provide temporary support and assistance to special education teachers and classroom staff throughout the district as necessary for extreme behavior issues, acute medical situations and difficult student transitions. Must be trained in Mandt and have experience supporting students with physically aggressive behavioral needs. 3 story building, in which employees in this position need to move quickly through each day. Will support a wide range of student behavioral needs school wide, including in our 3rd-5th Life Skills Classroom.Type: Classified Hours per day: 7.5 Number of days per year: 188 Status: Permanent starting September 3, 2026 Hourly Range: $25.47 - $32.46 (Salary is based on the 2025-26 schedule and is subject to change)The federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) works to support equal opportunity for disadvantaged students and eliminate barriers to student success.
