We understand that the success of our clients is about more than well-designed facilities; it's about well-designed strategies tailored for every market and every location.We're looking for an energetic, Plumbing Designer to focus on our fast-moving Data Center market. Join us, and you'll impact our success by delivering innovative plumbing design solutions for our Data Center clients. You will design plumbing/utility design packages for our data center clients. You'll also prepare construction package drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a plumbing design basis, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, Plumbing Engineers and develop a plumbing design package. Your role keeps our company connected, and we'll support you with what you need to be successful.Highlights of your contributions will includeLayout and design of Plumbing systemsDevelopment of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting these systems, the development of Isometrics, Riser Diagrams, details, fixture schedules, and general arrangements.Development of final construction documents associated with these systems. These systems would include domestic water (cold and hot), sanitary waste and vent, etc.Coordination with other disciplines.Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills, and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world togetherWhat you'll needAt least 6 years' experience in the design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.Demonstrated experience in generating design documents adhering to applicable CAD standards for plumbing design packages within an A&E firm.Trade School or Associates Degree.Proficiency in Revit.Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to design of plumbing systems.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.Ideally, You'll Also HaveProficiency in AutoCAD.Ability to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.Past experience on data center projects.Benefits and CompensationOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
