The purpose of this position is to provide support in the cash application department and ensure payments from customers are processed and posted accurately and efficiently. This position also resolves inquiries from external and internal customers.Responsibilities include:Performs processing of credit card cash receipts.Performs processing of lockbox cash receipts.Research history to determine appropriateness of cash refunds, prepares documentation for approval and performs processing of refund requests once approved by management.Process payment transfer requests.Research payment application history.Operates in the phone queue answering customer calls.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum:High School Diploma/GEDGenerally, less than 2 years of experienceProficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, Word)Demonstrated ability to manage detail and use analytical skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to meet strict deadlines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in and promote a team environmentPreferred:Bachelor's Degree preferred.Accounts Receivable experience preferredOracle and SAP billing experience a plusDrug Testing:To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
