Or maybe it's because we actively work to make hospitality (with each other, our guests, our clients and partners) the foundation upon which everything is built.Job overviewThe Line Cook is responsible for preparing, seasoning and cooking menu and non-menu orders according to LodgeWorks specifications. The position cleans and sanitizes all work areas, including kitchens, food preparation, dish washing, storage, service and other areas as directed by management. The Line Cook follows safe food handling and service practices and works closely with the Sales staff to service guests, meeting rooms, events, catering, restaurants and bars.Your day-to-dayApproach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards.Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.Ensure the freshness and proper storage of food.Set up, clear and break down the workstation.Utilize a variety of kitchen equipment throughout each shift. Follow all safety procedures regarding the operation of equipment to avoid personal injury and/ or damage to the equipment.Identify hazards and assess risks associated with food and equipment.
