We have positions nationwide and internationally.Middle School Chaplain Responsibilities:Plan and lead weekly chapel services for middle school students that is inclusive to all faiths. Design worship experiences that engages students. Facilitate planning for all-school chapels and additional worship opportunities for students. Teach two religion courses per semester for students.Foster inclusive learning environments where students of all faiths feel welcomed and heard. Collaborate with religion department staff to develop and refine curriculum for new and existing courses. Provide pastoral care and ongoing support to students, faculty, and staff. Work with religion department staff to coordinate Bible study opportunities for students. Plan meaningful service opportunities for students and families. Serve on both the middle school administration and chaplaincy team. Middle School Chaplain Requirements:Master's degree in Divinity, Religious Studies, or related field required.Previous experience designing and leading worship services. Previous youth ministry experience preferred. No teaching license or credential is required.Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community.Willingness to assist with school community activities.Additional Desired Qualities:Previous independent school experience preferred, but not required.
