Every day, IST secures billions of essential transactions, ensuring the highest levels of data protection and convenience.Job OverviewThe Manufacturing Process Improvement Supervisor is responsible for driving measurable improvements across operations by identifying inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and implementing sustainable process improvements.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, understanding equipment and processes, and implementing practical solutions on the production floor by using Lean methodologies.Success in this role is measured by the improvements you implement and sustain—not by the Lean events you facilitate.Key MissionsSupervise, coach, and develop the Process Improvement team.Plan, prioritize, and lead process improvement projects to achieve operational objectives and KPI targets.Analyze manufacturing processes and production data (OTD, OEE, productivity, scrap, downtime, etc.) to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.Optimize production and material flow by eliminating bottlenecks, reducing waste, and improving manufacturing performance.Develop and sustain a Lean culture through structured problem solving, Gemba, SIM, 5S, VSM, Kaizen, and other Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Lead technical problem-solving activities from root cause analysis through implementation, validation, and standardization.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, including CAPEX projects.Spend significant time on the production floor observing operations, understanding equipment, validating improvements, and identifying new opportunities.Work in 4x shifts when necessary to support improvement activities.Report project status, risks, and measurable business results to the Senior Manager – Quality and Continuous Improvement.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing. Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certification is a plus.Minimum of one year of leadership experience.Strong engineering and analytical skills with the ability to understand manufacturing equipment and processes.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.Strong leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop teams.Ability to influence operators, supervisors, engineers, and management through facts, data, and demonstrated results.Proficient with computer systems and programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, querying databases, ERP systems, etc.).English (read, written, spoken) mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
