Public Health Nurse - Disease Prevention & Control

JOB Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing.Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver's license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years. Required Special Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota is required upon employment.Certification as a Public Health Nurse in the State of Minnesota is required within six (6) months of employment. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Under general public health nursing supervision, provides public health nursing services in the areas of adult and family health, disease prevention and control, health promotion and emergency preparedness to improve health outcomes for individuals, families, communities and populations in need within the county.
