Senior Tax Professional | Abilene, TXWe’re partnering with a small, fast-growing accounting firm in Abilene that’s looking for a Senior Tax Professional to join their team.This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys hands-on tax work, client interaction, and the opportunity to help shape processes in a growing environment.Job Description Tax Compliance & Review• Prepare and review 1040, 1065, and 1120/1120S returnsTax Planning & Strategy• Conduct tax research and projections• Identify opportunities to reduce client tax liabilityClient Interaction• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings• Explain and present tax returns when neededProcess Improvement• Help streamline internal workflows• Support ongoing compliance with changing tax lawsRequirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance• 3–5+ years of tax experience• CPA preferred (not required)• Strong Excel + tax software skills• Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
