Job Overview www.thewildfigworkshopllc.com We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math skills, and overall development in preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with parents and staff to ensure each child’s educational needs are met. Duties Create and implement engaging lesson plans Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages communication, exploration, and creativity among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques. Provide individualized attention to students, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and improve teaching strategies and curriculum. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Supervise daily activities, including playtime, snack time, and group learning sessions. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience Previous experience working with children in a preschool or educational setting is preferred. Strong background in education Experience in toddler care is a plus, demonstrating the ability to nurture and educate children effectively. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues A genuine passion for educating young minds and helping them develop essential life skills. At the Wild Fig Workshop we combine play based learning with a nature based curriculum. We offer our mixed age classroom chances to explore gentle academics as well as a range of artistic and sensory projects. Much of our time is spent outdoors in our large natural space. Employee is required to have Central Background Registry, current Pediatric CPR and first aid and be willing to complete required trainings. Position starts March 1st .Flexible schedule.
