The International School of Orange County is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an intern. The internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in an educational setting.ResponsibilitiesStudy Hall AssistantAs a study hall assistant intern, you will work closely with our teachers to support the study hall and ensure a positive learning environment. Responsibilities will include:• Provide academic support by collaborating with the teacher on duty in assisting students with homework assignments• Offer guidance and support in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to math, reading, writing, and science.• Maintain open communication with teachers regarding student progress, challenges, and areas of improvement.Outdoor SupervisionAs an outdoor supervision support, you will collaborate with a campus assistant or teacher to provide a safe space for students during lunch supervision. Responsibilities will include:• Actively supervise children during outdoor play, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.• Report injuries and confrontations to teachers/campus assistants.• Prevent accidents and injuries by implementing safety protocols and procedures.• Engage and play games with the students.Required QualificationsRequirements for the paid internship position:Experience working with children, preferably in an educational settingStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitaskEnthusiasm for working in a collaborative team environmentAvailability week day shifts between 8:00AM and 6:00PMDesired QualificationsN/ASpecial Instructions to ApplicantsMust have FWS and will need to complete a Live Scan & TB shot.If you are passionate about education and eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic school environment, we invite you to apply for our internship position.
