This is not simply our job, it's our passion.Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager, Human Resources is responsible for ensuring human resources operations are executed in an efficient and effective manner by providing necessary support to colleagues and leadership alike. This position will contribute to a service-oriented Human Resources function by guaranteeing all processes are carried out fairly with consistency across the resort.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, which includes posting positions, screening applications, interviewing candidates and preparing offer letters for all positions including line-level colleagues, leadership members, and international program participants (J-1 and H-2B programs)Manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies on sourcing candidatesStrengthen recruiting pipelines through community partnerships and career fairsResponsible for the administration of the contract renewal process for seasonal colleaguesConducts compensation and benefits analyses on a regular basis to benchmark the competition, giving recommendations to the HR Manager and HR DirectorAssist in the execution of processes that attract, recognize, develop, and retain colleagues to support the organization's short- and long-term strategic business needsSupport the onboarding of new colleagues in conjunction with the HR Coordinator, including inputting information into HRIS systems (ADP, SuccessFactors)Administer benefits programs including health insurance, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and 401(k) plan, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely communication with colleaguesMaintain up-to-date employee records, documentation, and files in accordance with company requirementsProvide employee records, data, and/or statistics as may be required by members of managementSupport the offboarding of terminated colleagues in conjunction with the HR Coordinator, including conducting and compiling exit interviews, reporting any concerns to the HR ManagerProvide consultation to managers on recruitment processes, performance management, employee relations, etc.Assist with Learning & Development programs as neededPerform additional duties as assigned by the HR Manager or other members of managementSkills, Experience & Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent hospitality experience)Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within a 5-star resort settingStrong understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, including experience using Applicant Tracking SystemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in computer systems, such as Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Ability to be efficient and effective in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility, being able to balance multiple priorities while adhering to set timelinesPhysical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.
