Technical Lead - Developer Experience - Major Hedge Fund

Our client, a leading hedge fund, is looking to hire a senior Technical Lead to build and evolve the internal developer platform and engineering productivity stack for a high-performance organization.ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve internal developer infrastructure, including CI/CD, build, and release systemsImprove developer experience across coding, testing, and deployment workflowsBuild and operate scalable engineering platforms with strong reliability and performance expectationsDrive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and automation across engineering teamsPartner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure, reliable software delivery at scaleWork hands-on across architecture, implementation, and operational support of core platform systemsRequirements5+ years of similar experience, ideally within financeStrong background in platform engineering, developer infrastructure, DevEx, or SRE at scale within financeExperience operating CI/CD systems and modern software delivery pipelines in production environmentsStrong systems design and distributed systems experienceProficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Rust, or C++)Experience improving engineering velocity through tooling, automation, or platform improvementsFamiliarity with cloud-native infrastructure and modern developer workflowsInterest or experience in AI-assisted development or engineering automationStrong technical leadership and ability to influence engineering practices across teamsTo discuss the role in confidence, please reach out to Rhys at rhys.nugent@capitalmarkets.ie
