This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to design scalable solutions, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality product capabilities.Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & ArchitectureLead the design and development of scalable, highperformance backend services.Architect and refine microservicesbased solutions usingJava ,Spring Boot , andKotlin .Ensure best practices in API design, security, performance, and reliability.Make key decisions on technical patterns, frameworks, and architectural approaches.Product EngineeringWork closely with Product Management to understand requirements, refine user stories, and translate them into technical solutions.Own the endtoend lifecycle of product features—from design and development to deployment and monitoring.Evaluate technical feasibility and propose innovative solutions to meet product goals.Cloud & DevOpsDesign and deploy cloudnative applications onAWS(EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).Optimize application performance, scalability, and cost within AWS environments.Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure improvements.Handson DevelopmentWrite clean, highquality, maintainable code inJavaandKotlin .Develop RESTful APIs and backend services with robust testing and documentation.Conduct detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.Collaboration & MentorshipMentor and guide junior and midlevel engineers.Drive technical discussions, design reviews, and sprint ceremonies.Partner with QA, PM, UX, and other engineering teams to deliver seamless product experiences.Required Skills & Qualifications7–9 years of handson experience in backend development.Strong expertise in:Java (8/11/17+)Spring Boot / Spring CloudREST API developmentKotlin(for backend services)AWS cloud servicesSolid understanding of microservices architecture.Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.Preferred SkillsExperience with eventdriven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).Experience working in Agile product teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
