Medical Director
Las Posas Veterinary Medical Center is seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our leadership team!
One of the things that makes our hospital special is the people – we are looking for an experienced Veterinarian to serve as Medical Director who can partner with the current Hospital Manager in supporting and growing the team. As Medical Director, you will help drive the continued growth and success of our practices, provide clinical leadership and guidance to our veterinarians while fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care that our clients have come to expect over the past 32 years.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical leadership and mentorship to our veterinary team
Ensure delivery of high-quality medicine during the busy summer season
Maintain and enhance medical protocols and standards
Participate in recruiting and developing veterinary talent
Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives
Maintain an active clinical schedule while managing leadership duties
Medical Services We Provide:
Preventive health care (perfect for summer wellness visits)
Health risk assessment
Nutritional counseling and feeding plans
Emergency services during business hours
Dental cleaning and extractions
Dermatology and allergy management (essential for summer skin conditions)
In-house lab
Internal medicine
Digital dental radiography
Ultrasound
Endoscopy
General surgery

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience + production
Leadership compensation ranging from $150,000–$200,000+, and Ownership opportunity!

Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an AVMA accredited college or successful completion of ECFVG/PAVE certification program
Minimum of five years clinical experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Strong surgical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
California veterinary license in good standing or eligible for licensure
