We use automation and AI tools to take the repetitive work off our team’s plate so they can spend their time on what matters: advising clients, solving problems, and delivering work that makes a real difference.The RoleWe are hiring a Senior Client Accounting Manager to own a portfolio of client relationships, direct our support team on execution, and serve as the senior financial voice for every business we work with. You will deliver fractional CFO services, oversee tax and accounting work, and step in hands-on in QBO or ProConnect when the situation calls for it. Most client engagement happens virtually, with occasional in-person visits for situations that call for a personal touch. This is a role for someone who wants autonomy, accountability, and the chance to do work that is genuinely meaningful.Core ResponsibilitiesClient Service & CFO Advisory• Serve as the lead client contact for a defined portfolio of small and mid-size business accounts• Deliver fractional CFO services including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, KPI dashboards, financial reporting, and business performance reviews• Translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights that business owners can act on• Conduct client meetings primarily via video conference, with some in-person visits as needed• Proactively identify issues, surface solutions, and manage difficult conversations with composureTeam Direction & Quality Control• Direct support staff on day-to-day execution of bookkeeping, payroll, and tax tasks across client accounts• Review and validate all financial statements, reports, and deliverables before they reach clients• Evaluate and rationalize AI-generated financial output before client delivery• Step in to perform transactional work in QBO or ProConnect directly when needed• Ensure all client deliverables meet firm standards for accuracy, completeness, and timelinessTax & Compliance• Coordinate and directly participate in preparation and filing of individual and corporate income tax returns• Apply tax law knowledge to guide planning, review outcomes, and communicate results to clients• Manage tax notices and represent clients with applicable agencies as needed• Work hands-on in Intuit ProConnect and oversee the QuickBooks Online workflow across client accountsProject & Workflow Management• Manage project timelines and client deliverables using Accelo (training provided)• Coordinate with support staff to prioritize workloads and meet all client deadlines• Maintain thorough meeting notes, task lists, and client documentationWhat You Bring• 3 to 8 years of accounting or public accounting experience• Hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required• Hands-on experience in Intuit ProConnect is preferred• Demonstrated ability to serve in a client-facing advisory and deliver fractional CFO-level services• Strong working knowledge of individual and business tax, payroll, and financial reporting• Comfort working with AI-assisted tools and applying critical thinking to evaluate their output• Exceptional communicator in written, verbal, and client-facing settings• Sound and independent judgment in complex or sensitive financial situations• Highly organized with strong instincts for project and deadline management• Professional, discreet, and genuinely service-orientedWhat We Offer• Salary range: $105,000 – $115,000 depending on experience• Health, Dental & Vision Insurance• 401(k) with matching contributions• Paid Time Off and company holidays• Performance-based bonus / incentive program• Consistent Monday through Friday schedule with a collaborative in-office environment
