ETS has attracted numerous professional athletes to its brand and earned national and global recognition for its unique performance systems and community impact, supporting a mission to continually expand and elevate the ETS experience.Role Description The Performance Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Rochester, MN. This role involves designing and delivering individualized and group training programs to optimize athletic performance, strength, and conditioning for clients of all ages and skill levels. The Performance Coach will conduct performance assessments, track progress, and adjust training plans to align with each athlete’s goals while maintaining a safe and motivating training environment. Daily responsibilities include coaching sessions on the training floor, educating athletes on proper movement techniques, collaborating with other coaches to refine programming, and communicating regularly with athletes and families about performance and development. The Performance Coach will also support ETS initiatives that promote a positive training culture and community engagement.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Athletic Performance and Training, including experience designing sport-specific and individualized programs.Candidates should possess Coaching and Strength & Conditioning skills, with a strong understanding of movement mechanics, progression, and injury prevention.Candidates should possess Business Coaching skills to support client engagement, retention, and professional communication with athletes and families.Relevant certifications in strength and conditioning, sports performance, or personal training (e.g., CSCS, CPT) are beneficial.Experience working with youth, high school, collegiate, or professional athletes is preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate diverse populations in a team-oriented environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on training schedules.Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field is advantageous.
