A Power Platform Architect (Copilot Specialization) designs and governs enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions and custom copilots in Copilot Studio, enabling secure, scalable low-code apps, automation, and AI-assisted experiences.Orientation: Industry – Manufacturing or Healthcare; Function – Finance or Supply Chain; Geography – US | Domain - Health & Life sciences AI impact examples (Power Platform + Copilot) for groundingFinance: AP/AR exception triage copilot (invoice/claim on hold Q&A), close checklist + variance narrative drafting, and governed spend insights—triggering approvals and case routing via Power Automate/Power Apps.Supply Chain: PO/ASN & supplier-comm status copilot, inventory/production or med-surg stock exception summaries with case creation in Dataverse, and supplier onboarding workflows with audit trails.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop end-to-end Power Platform solution architecture (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages) across environments, integrations, and non-functional requirements (security, performance, scale).Design and build custom copilots in Copilot Studio, including topics/actions, orchestration, prompt engineering, tool selection, and knowledge grounding (e.g., Dataverse, SharePoint, and APIs) using RAG patterns where appropriate.Establish governance and ALM (DLP, environments, solution layering, pipelines, testing) and guide stakeholders through discovery, POCs/MVPs, adoption, and continuous improvement.Provide advisory leadership and drive CoE + enablement: opportunity sizing/ROI, target-state architecture, intake & prioritization, standards/patterns, training/adoption, support model, and guardrails.Required Skills10+ years IT/cloud with deep Power Platform architecture (Dataverse security, integrations, environment strategy).Copilot Studio custom copilots (actions/orchestration), grounding/RAG patterns, and evaluation.Enterprise governance/ALM (DLP, solution lifecycle, pipelines, testing) and Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, Entra ID).QualificationsBachelor’s in CS (or related) or equivalent; Power Platform Solution Architect Expert and/or relevant AI credentials preferred.Advisory skills: copilot opportunity sizing/ROI, risk & compliance, platform roadmaps, and CoE operating model (governance, enablement, support, lifecycle).
