Remote RoleCompensation: $85 - $100 per hourContract Length: 1 year with possibility of extensionHours: 8am-5pm CSTStart Date: November 16th, 2026About The RoleOur client, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join a newly formed data team responsible for migrating a business-critical, finance-focused application from on-premises Oracle and IBM DataStage systems to Databricks on Azure. As one of the first members of this team, you will work directly with the subject matter experts who built the original application, as well as business users, to analyze, model, and migrate data, build ingestion pipelines, and implement medallion architecture transformations using Python and PySpark. This is a remote, contract role that offers high visibility, direct access to key stakeholders, and real ownership of end-to-end solutions.
