Full-Stack Web Engineer Remote, Flexible, Ownership
We are looking for a full-time Full-Stack Web Engineer to join our team working on a web application in the PR industry.
The ideal candidate has 4-5+ years of experience developing both the front end and back end of web-based applications. Experience with B2B SaaS platforms and handling large datasets and databases is a strong plus.
In this role, you'll take ownership of the entire feature delivery process – from discovery and testing to deployment. Your primary focus will be building new features and improving existing ones within the application.
Responsibilities
Managing the development cycle for assigned sprints from discovery to testing to deployment
Maintaining and upgrading features following deployment
Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of features and enhancements
Overseeing and guiding the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software
Maintaining documentation related to sprints, new features, testing, and other pertinent sprint information
Working with each member to ensure design, development, and testing are completed according to the specifications outlined in the documentation
Requirements
Familiarity with the following tools: Jira, BitBucket, TestRail, Cypress, Sentry, and AWS, such as EC2, ECR, and ECS
Familiarity with the following languages and frameworks will be a plus: Vue.js, Python, PHP, Laravel
3+ years of experience Familiarity with the following databases and caches: MySQL, MongoDB, AWS RDS, and caching mechanisms such as Redis
Strong understanding of both the frontend and backend of software applications
Capable of owning tasks and subtasks from start to finish
Capable of estimating story points for tasks and subtasks
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Ability to communicate goals and progress across various departments, both upstream and downstream
Strong verbal communication and writing skills
Strong critical thinking skills
