Location401 San Mateo Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108-2921Practice HighlightsProvider will care for patients in outpatient primary care, working collaboratively with nurses, medical assistants, case and care managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff. The practice has an average of 16-18 patients per day and a call rotation in collaboration with RN/MA support, clinical pharmacists, behavioral health clinicians, and case managers.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses.Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests.Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies.Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately.Manage the provider/patient relationship and resolve patient complaints.Educate and counsel individuals, families, and groups.Serve as a health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.Work autonomously and collaboratively with other health care providers and staff.Participate in recruitment and replacement of other providers.Participate in system-wide health management initiatives.Provide input into the site financial, clinical, and service quality performance, budget, capital plan, and personnel issues.Contribute to the development and review of appropriate clinical protocols and processes.Engage in professional growth through educational programs, literature review, in‑services, and workshops.Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings including PCC, provider and site meetings.Modify assessment techniques according to patient condition, culture, age, and stage of development.Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and reimbursement level, including legible documentation.Perform other functions as required.QualificationsMD or DO, Board Eligible or Certified in Family Medicine; State of New Mexico Medical License; DEA registration; New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration.BenefitsNationally competitive salary with relocation allowance.Continuing medical education allowance.Fully paid malpractice insurance.Robust wellness program including on‑site and community‑based gyms, nutrition coaching, wellness challenges, and classes.Comprehensive benefit plan effective day one, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement (403(b) with matching).Strongline silent alarm badge to enhance safety.RESET program—a multi‑day immersive retreat focused on personal and professional growth, resilience, and intentional living.Employee InformationAA/EOE/VET/DISABLED.
