Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, mental status, and overall well-being, documenting changes accurately Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Support residents with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, and other cognitive impairments through engaging activities and attentive supervision Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Certification in CPR, First Aid, and knowledge of HIPAA compliance required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with patient transfers using proper techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families A compassionate attitude dedicated to providing respectful and personalized care Join us if you’re passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
