Bringing together traditional and alternative investments, Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management provides clients around the world with a dedicated partnership and focus on long-term performance.Role OverviewThe Infrastructure team is seeking a Vice President to support the sourcing, execution, and portfolio management of infrastructure investments across core, core-plus, and value-add strategies. The VP will play a hands-on role across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior deal team members and portfolio company management teams.Key Responsibilities:Investment ExecutionLead and support all aspects of the investment process, including:Deal sourcing and screeningFinancial modeling and valuationCommercial, technical, regulatory, ESG, and legal diligenceTransaction structuring, negotiation, and executionPrepare and present investment materials for internal review and Investment Committee.Portfolio ManagementActively support portfolio companies post-close, including:Board participation and observer rolesStrategic initiatives, acquisitions, financings, and exitsOngoing performance monitoring and valuation analysisCoordinate with internal partners (Capital Markets, ESG, Risk, Legal, Operations).Market & Sector WorkDevelop deep expertise across infrastructure subsectors (e.g., energy transition, power, utilities, transportation, digital infrastructure).Track market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.Support thematic research and proactive sourcing initiatives.Team LeadershipMentor and oversee Associates and Analysts.Work collaboratively across global Infrastructure and Alternatives teams.Qualifications & Experience710+ years of total experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, energy/transition investing, or related sectors.Prior experience at:Infrastructure private equity or infrastructure credit fundsPrivate equity funds with strong infrastructure exposureInvestment banking (Infrastructure / Power / Energy / Sponsors), with buyside experience preferredDemonstrated experience across:Full-cycle investing (sourcing ? execution ? portfolio management)Complex financial modeling and structuringInvestment Committee materials and senior-level presentationsStrong understanding of:Project finance and cash-flow-based assetsRegulatory frameworks and long-duration assetsOutstanding analytical, judgment, and communication skills.Ability to operate independently and "play up" in a lean deal team environment.Attributes for SuccessCommercial mindset with strong investment judgmentHighly collaborative and team-orientedDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreamsComfortable engaging with management teams, advisors, and senior stakeholdersSalary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000.
