Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician

Opportunity We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a full‑time day position to join Salem Regional Medical Center to start by August 2026. The work schedule includes at least 120 hours of coverage per month. Independent Contractor (1099) status. Emergency Department Salem Regional Medical Center provides 24/7/365 coverage staffed with board-certified emergency and family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. We utilize MediTech Expanse as our EMR and are supported by specialty backup in interventional vascular radiology and neurosurgery, nursing staff, and administrative staff. Emergency Department Statistics 17,000+ visits annually Flexible scheduling including 8‑hour shifts (APP) and 12‑hour shifts (physicians) 24‑hour MD coverage and 24/7 coverage with a swing shift during peak hours for APP coverage Low acuity patients Orthopedic treatment and surgery Neurology & vascular services Our Facility Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is an 87‑bed independent nonprofit hospital that has proudly served the Columbiana County community for more than 113 years.
