Control Engineer
Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in related majors, specifically:a. Electrical Engineering and/or Automationb. Consideration will be given to candidates with other engineering degrees along with relevant work experience2. Minimum 2 years related working experience, preferably within the automotive industry. Solid willingness of occupational plan in automotive industry is preferred.3. Demonstrated knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Ormon controls architecture: (profound knowledge in single brand of PLC is acceptable)a. PLC and HMI programming b. Equipment and/or system commissioningc. Good understanding of control componentsd. Good understanding of E-plan drawing (with design experience is preferred)4. Self-motivated project management, with critical attention to details, deadlines, trouble shooting, and reportinga. Experience of engineering planning and project steering is preferredb. Experience with Improvement processes/techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean, Transactional Lean, Root Cause Analysis or equivalent methods is preferredc. Ability to work with customers directly to resolve open issues proactively5. High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite & Internet applications. Experience of using software of industry Automation is preferred.6. Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).7. Willingness to travel throughout North America and internationally as required, with assignments typically at client project sites, averaging around 4 months per project. Support virtual commissioning if necessaryf. Support simulation if necessary2. Lead/join local controls efforts with the customer at the customer’s site, include but not limited to:a. Lead/support sub-supplier management and human power assignmentb. Lead/support interfaces clarification and onsite alignmentc. Lead/join installation/commissioning implementation d. Lead/join Daily / Weekly reports to Customers or higher management e. Lead/join Identification and solutions of any controls related issues to ensure overall project successf. Project due dates management to ensure timely execution, including: I. punch list tracking, change orders, etc. II. real time troubleshooting activities III. risk diminishing/escalation while encountering difficultiesg. Lead/join/support trial of productionh. Lead/join/support standby of production3. Lead/join/support to monitor, evaluate and analyze any test data/protocol/documentation to ensure quality of control, safety of systemsa. Lead/support test reportb.
