Cultural Influence Specialist LATAM - MIAMI
The Cultural Influence (CI) Specialist - Miami supports regional and national relationships with artists, lifestyle brands, multimedia partners, and internal stakeholders. This role helps execute collaborations, partnerships, product placements, and events that expand brand awareness and deepen artist engagement across the Gibson portfolio, including Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, Maestro, and KRK.The role manages project timelines, coordinates logistics, and supports day‐to‐day Cultural Influence initiatives. The role also assists with programming and utilization of the Gibson Garage in Miami, helping produce events and content that strengthen Gibson's presence within the regional and global music community.Success in this position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.Job Summary:Artist RelationshipsDevelop and nurture a diverse roster of artists across genres, building genuine, long-term connections that keep Gibson at the center of their creative worldServe as a trusted point of contact for musicians in the Miami region and larger LATAM community, fostering relationships that extend beyond transactions into meaningful brand advocacyCultivate existing collaborations across the Gibson portfolio - Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, Maestro, and KRK - deepening engagement and uncovering new ways to grow togetherCommunity & Presence* Represent Gibson within Miami's vibrant music and creative community, building the brand's presence through consistent, authentic engagement at events, showcases, and cultural moments* Act as a connector between Gibson's internal teams and external partners, ensuring every relationship feels valued and every collaboration is set up for successEvents & Cultural ActivationsWork in partnership with the Miami Garage team to align on initiatives to create community and enhance visibilityHelp plan and execute artist showcases, cultural events, and brand activations in alignment with the Miami GarageCoordinate logistics for regional and national activations including festivals, tradeshows, and artist launchesProject Management & ReportingManage timelines and communication across internal teams and external partnersTrack project progress and provide post-event or campaign recapsSupport earned media tracking and internal reportingHelp identify opportunities to expand Gibson's cultural reach and brand partnershipsRequired Education and Experience:3-5 years experience in partnerships, artist relations, marketing, events, or project managementExperience working in music, entertainment, media, or culture-driven industriesStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPassion for music, artists, and cultural storytellingExperience coordinating events or brand activations is a plusRequired Skills & Abilities:Deep knowledge of the music industry and a genuine passion for the Gibson family of brands.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you represent the brand in every interaction.Personal Qualities:A natural ambassador - you represent luxury brands with confidence, warmth, and deep product knowledge.Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture.Adaptable and composed under pressure, with strong instincts for prioritization.Proactive nature, you identify gaps and act on them before being asked.A collaborative team player who thrives in a diverse, high-energy environment.Travel:Occasional travel may be required for this role *approximately 15%Physical Requirements:This role involves regular physical activity, including moving gear and equipment (up to 50 lbs) and spending extended time on your feet throughout the showroom and event spaces.
