Business Development Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development / Marketing professional to support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives. This role will focus on executing marketing and business development strategies, enhancing client engagement, and driving brand positioning across practice areas.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute marketing and business development strategies aligned with practice group goalsTrack, analyze, and report on performance metrics and progressConduct competitive intelligence and market researchPrepare detailed reports on clients, targets, industry trends, and opportunitiesMaintain and manage the firm’s experience databaseCoordinate and develop RFP responses, proposals, and client presentationsContinuously improve pitch materials, processes, and messagingEnsure consistency and efficiency across multiple officesTrack and analyze RFP/proposal outcomes and trendsDevelop innovative marketing collateral to strengthen firm positioningProduce high-impact submissions for legal rankings in collaboration with PR agenciesPartner closely with attorneys to support business development initiativesProactively recommend new strategies to reach target audiencesUtilize CRM systems to manage relationships and track engagementQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in marketing or business developmentExperience in a professional services environment preferred (e.g., law firms, consulting)Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsExcellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint required)Familiarity with Monitor Suite and/or Redwood Analytics is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
