Engineering Supervisor, Controls
This Electrical Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the planning, directing and coordination of electrical and controls engineering for all water filtration products.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range – depends on experience, ideal range $160,000 - $175,000, plus annual bonus (estimated at 10%), 401k match, employee stock purchase programMedical, life, vision, dental and health savings benefits are offeredWorksite Location:On-site position, Minneapolis, MNRoles & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and direct projects, developing detailed plans and scheduling to achieve goals and ensuring integration of all technical activities.Complete electrical engineering designs, PLC programming, and hardware selection.Consult on, designs, and review customer specifications to ensure alignment with company capabilities and standards.Direct, review, and approve electrical designs and programming for products and modifications.Oversee and perform all electrical designs and instrumentation and programming procedures, reviews, and shop quality assurance.Maintain electronic files and drawing updates and assist field service with control systems troubleshooting.Develop budgets, schedules, cost estimates, bids, and contracts for both new and existing customers.Negotiates and secures customer approval for product designs or changes.Prepare and present proposals, reports, and findings to customers.Collaborate cross-functionally and with production teams to review specifications and procedures that meet customer requirementsPrepares budgets, bids, and contracts, and leads negotiations for research or project agreementsReview financial statements, sales reports, and performance metrics to evaluate productivity, progress toward goals, and identify areas for cost or process improvement.Participates in strategic business planning and recommends facility, workforce, and capital asset investments.Performs administrative duties including report preparation, expenditure approval, policy enforcement, and procurement decisions.Manage a team of electrical designers and engineers.
