HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks efficiently. This position requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various HVAC equipment. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Conduct refrigerant recovery and charging as needed. Weld and fabricate components as required for system repairs or installations. Build and assemble HVAC units according to specifications. Drive company van to job sites while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all HVAC systems are functioning optimally. Document service calls, repairs performed, and any recommendations for future maintenance. Skills Proficient in HVAC/R principles and practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Experience in welding techniques for equipment repair and fabrication. Ability to refrigerate systems effectively while following safety protocols. Familiarity with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van operation.
