Delivery Truck Driver (Class B)
Job Summary:The Delivery Truck Driver (Class B) is responsible for safely transporting air cargo equipment and products between company facilities and customer locations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service. This role involves loading, securing, delivering, and unloading goods in a timely and efficient manner, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Map delivery routes to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveriesPick-up and deliver Air Cargo equipment and productsPerform visual inspection of Air Cargo equipment as needed when picking upObtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm complete pick-ups or deliveriesCommunicate with Repair Station Ops and Customer as neededMaintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, check tire pressure, etc.)Adhere to company rules and regulationsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditionsPerforms other duties as assigned, such as scanning the equipment in/out, assist with upkeep of the facility, etc.Required Skills/Abilities:Must possess a valid Class B CDL and a current, valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card)Must maintain a current DOT Medical Card (Form MCSA-5876) throughout employmentClean driving record with no moving violationsExperience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack a plusEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferredValid Class B commercial driver's license required6+ months experience driving a large truck preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to pass drug test per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelinesThe description above is only a description of the work and not an exhaustive list.
