Overview
Our client, a global leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support process control, continuous improvement, and product quality assurance initiatives. This is an individual contributor role requiring sound technical judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position plays a key role in ensuring products meet functional, performance, and reliability expectations while maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement methods and procedures for:
Process control
Process improvement
Product testing and inspection
Design, install, and maintain testing equipment to:
Validate product performance
Ensure product reliability
Minimize defect rates
Perform product testing and data analysis to maintain quality levels
Analyze quality reports and defective products to:
Identify trends
Determine root causes
Recommend corrective and preventive actions
Partner with supplier representatives to:
Address quality issues
Drive effective corrective actions
Contribute to supplier quality improvement programs
Apply quality tools and professional expertise to support manufacturing and operations teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong understanding of quality engineering principles and process improvement methodologies
Ability to analyze data and identify trends in product or process performance
Experience supporting corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment
