TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides instruction in marching techniques and drill performance.As required, provides coaching of instrumental sections of the band.Travels with the marching band to competitions and away games as designated by the marching band director.Performs such other related duties as the Principal may from time to time assign. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent.Experienced in contemporary marching band or drum corps style field performances.Competency in either brass or woodwind instruction (as determined by the marching band instructor on an annual basis.)Experience in contemporary drill writing.Such other qualifications as the Board may deem advisable.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year as determined by the New London Board of Education.New London Public School District is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
