Material Coordinator
About the Role
To join our production support team. This position is responsible for managing the flow of parts and materials within the facility to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both technology and hands-on tasks, including moving and tracking materials.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials.
Move parts safely to assigned locations using material handling equipment.
Track and verify inventory using computer systems.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for material handling.
Follow work instructions and adhere to safety standards.
Support production by ensuring parts are delivered to the right place at the right time.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
Prior experience in material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
Comfortable using computers and basic software systems.
Strong attention to detail and math skills.
Ability to work well in a team and follow written instructions.
Experience operating forklifts or lifting devices is a plus.
