Selection Procedure
BILINGUAL STIPEND - SPEAKING
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY PERMANENT EMPLOYEES OF THE TUSD DISTRICT MAY APPLY.
As covered by the CSEA Chapter 19 Collective Bargaining Agreement, employees required to use bilingual skills as determined by the District will receive a stipend of $50.00 or $75.00 per month depending upon assignment, providing they pass the Competency Test administered by the Personnel Commission.
Applicants will have the option of receiving information regarding the status of their stipend request via email or U.S. Mail.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR BILINGUAL STIPEND REQUEST FORM
Step 1 -Create Account
If you don't already have a Government Jobs account, you can create one by clicking on this link: NEOGOV then click create an account.
If you dohave an account simply log in and go on to Step 3.
You will need to create an account with ausername and password when you first begin. Once your account has been created, you may return to apply for transfers, update your form, add attachments and apply for otherTUSDclassified positions.
Step 2 -Complete your Profile
Your profile will be used to generate fields on your request or any applications for vacancies you wish to submit. The employment history section must be completed to provide hiring administrators an overview of your qualifications and employment history with the district.
You may exit the program at any time and return to complete it at your convenience.
Step 3 -Apply for the Bilingual Stipend - Speaking
Click on the Apply link at the top of this announcement. You will be prompted to log-in. Once you have completed your form, you will be contacted by Personnel Commission to schedule an examination to test your language competency. Upon successful completion of the examination your name will be sent forward to Human Resources for your stipend to be processed.
